The latest figures for the UK environmental goods and services industry show the sector had a turnover of £25 billion and employed around 400,000. Despite these figures, securing funding to develop environmental technologies and services is often a major hurdle for many businesses, particularly start-ups and those lacking a track-record. Support for small and medium size businesses and academic institutions is urgently required and it is on this basis which The EIC Environmental Investment Network has been developed.
What are the aims of the Network?
The Network aims to facilitate the raising of finance for environmental technologies and services by providing support, information and networking opportunities to:
- investors seeking investment opportunities; and
- companies, social enterprises and academic institutions.

Registration as a Member of the Network is free by completing the on-line registration form. Membership benefits include:

Members seeking funding may submit proposals via a secure website and present proposals at investment meetings.
